​In response to the wildfire crisis in Los Angeles, The Robert Nelson Foundation was able to provide a $30,000.00 gift to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. The funds will go directly to the front-line fire stations. Thank you to the wonderful men and women of the LAFD and all those fighting these fires to save lives and communities. The Robert Nelson Foundation is honored to help such wonderful and courageous public servants. Thank you!

Homelessness affects people of all ages. The Shower of Hope organization in Los Angeles is committed to making a difference by providing mobile shower facilities for the homeless population as well as housing for homeless young people. The Shower of Hope is a wonderful example of an organization reaching out and helping those who need it most. The Robert Nelson Foundation recently gave The Shower of Hope a $5,000.00 grant towards operating expenses to assist with their mission. The foundation is honored to be connected to such a great vision and organization.

The Robert Nelson Foundation recently provided a $5,000 to the Academy of Music for the Blind based in Los Angeles. The foundation is honored to contribute to such a great cause. The grant will be used to continue to expand the teaching services of the staff to reach blind students using the power of music and technology to make a tremendous difference in the lives of these students. The Robert Nelson Foundation is honored to have recently given a $5,000 gift to, “A Place Called Home” The mission is to inspire, encourage, and support the young people in South Los Angeles to achieve social, emotional, and economic success. Funds given from the foundation to help with general operating expenses as well as to help fund the Teenage Crisis Center. The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) envisions just, safe, communities where every woman and gender diverse individual has a home and is on a path to fulfillment. Its mission is to end homelessness for women and gender diverse individuals by providing safe housing, and supportive services centered on wellness, employment, and advocacy. The Robert Nelson Foundation has presented a $5,000 grant to assist with the Downtown Women’s Center mission.
