The Robert Nelson Foundation is honored to assist the West Central Michigan YWCA supporting the Sojourner House with a $5,000 grant. “YWCA Grand Rapids Sojourner House, our 24-hour emergency shelter serving individuals and families experiencing crisis and housing instability fleeing from domestic violence and sexual assault situations. Our programs include emergency shelter through Sojourner House, supportive services for women and families, legal advocacy services, counseling, a 24-crisis hotline, a forensic nurse examiner program, prevention and empowerment initiatives, and transitional housing in West Michigan. These services provide safe stability and resources to individuals who are often facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives”.
